Karen Radkowsky
Founder and President


Karen has over 25 years of experience in market research, product development and strategy assessment among consumer, business-to-business and public sector targets in the US and around the globe. Her work spans a wide range of industries, including packaged goods, beauty, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, financial services, insurance, technology and media, durables, retail, government and non-profits. Prior to forming The Research Consultancy, Karen built and led the market research practices at Ogilvy & Mather Advertising and at The Geppetto Group (a youth branding and marketing consultancy). She spent over a decade at BBDO Advertising, where she rose to senior vice-president and research director. A former member of the Advertising Research Foundation (ARF) Board of Directors, Karen began her research career on the client side, at L'Oréal and American Express, after graduating from Columbia University.

Mike Sauter
Advanced Analytics


Mike is well-versed in a wide variety of advanced analytical approaches, including segmentation, conjoint analysis, maximum difference analysis, cluster analysis, factor analysis, discriminant analysis, and TURF analysis. He has worked on over a thousand research projects in his 40- year career. Prior to partnering with The Research Consultancy, Mike worked for NPD Research, ORC, and TNS Global. At NPD, he led the development of all their analytical tools, including designing and programming the user interface for the PanPro sales forecasting model, which NPD then launched as ESP. Mike received an undergraduate degree from Duke University and an MBA from Carnegie-Mellon University.
